What is Functional Medicine Weight Loss?
More than 70% of adult Americans are considered overweight or obese. Being overweight often indicates poor health which is a major concern. When you are overweight you are in fact sick. You may not know it just yet, but your body is already possibly struggling with high inflammation, insulin resistance, poor immune response, and more likely some gut issues. Most overweight issues stem from underlying causes.
Regardless of how many diets you have tried, you won’t be successful in losing weight unless you address the root cause behind your weight gain in the first place. The key to weight loss is focusing on getting healthy.
Functional Medicine focuses on your overall health and getting you to be at your highest, most optimal health status. Taking the "getting healthy” approach, along with improved energy, eliminating brain fog, correcting hormone imbalances, improved sleep, reducing autoimmune symptoms, and more, allows weight loss to occur naturally. If you’re having trouble losing weight despite your best efforts, getting treatment from a Functional Medicine practitioner may be just what you need to succeed.
To promote sustainable weight reduction, functional medicine takes an integrated approach by examining several factors that may have led to an individual’s weight gain. The mission of weight loss through functional medicine is to identify the root cause of the problem. Focusing on systemic health issues contributing to your weight battle will assist you in making the necessary changes.
Optimal Well-Being Mobile IV Therapy
What Is IV Therapy?
IV hydration therapy is a method of inserting fluids directly into veins that often provides immediate hydration and relief for a range of conditions. Instead of requiring you to consume nutrients and medication through your digestive system, an intravenous approach delivers them straight to your bloodstream, allowing a higher concentration to reach your organs and tissue and start working faster.
